Biographical Statement:
Born in 1975 in Arnhem, Allard received his PhD in economics at Maastricht University in 2003. He started out his professional career at De Nederlandsche Bank research division, working on research topics related to the monetary transmission channels on the one hand, and being engaged in macro modeling and forecasting on the other. In 2007, he moved to Rabobank's economic research division, where in 2010 he became head of a small international macro research team, covering country risk, business cycle developments and structural challenges in the industrialized world. Allard lives together and is father of a son and a daughter.
