Magyar Nemzeti Bank, Budapest

On Wednesday 23 June, 2010 SUERF and the Magyar Nemzeti Bank jointly organised a conference on "The Future of Banking in CESEE after the Financial Crisis", which also incorporated the 2010 SUERF Annual Lecture, delivered by Manfred Schepers on "The role of domestic financial markets in an integrated Europe". The Conference was split into three main sessions, on "The Post-Crisis Macroeconomic Environment for Banking in CESEE", "New Banking Models after the Crisis" and "Issues in Supervision". The proceedings of the conference were published in SUERF Study 2011/1.
