In recent years, economic growth in Europe has been unsatisfactorily low. Governments, parliaments and international organisations are looking for ways to stimulate growth and improve employment.The organisers have invited researchers at universities, international organisation and financial institutions to submit papers in which they analyse the potential roles of monetary policy, financial regulation and financial markets and institutions in efforts to revitalize the European economy. A selection of papers based on the authors” contributions has been published in SUERF Study 2014/4.
