SNB-CIF Conference on Cryptoassets and Financial Innovation

The Swiss National Bank (SNB) and the Center for Innovative Finance (CIF) of the University of Basel will hold their sixth annual conference on Cryptoassets and Financial Innovation in Zurich on 20 June 2025.

The organising committee invites interested authors to submit papers related to the following – not exhaustive – topics:

• Impact of Cryptoassets, DLT and fintech on central bank policy and operations
• Impact of Cryptoassets, DLT and fintech on banking, financial markets and financial market infrastructures
• Central bank digital currencies, stablecoins, and tokenized deposits
• Trusted digital identities and financial innovation

Authors are asked to submit their paper (English; preliminary or full version, including abstract, JEL codes, keywords and references) including their full name and contact information, as well as an accompanying CV. Paper proposals are due by 21 February 2025, and should be sent to finance.research@snb.ch.
